From My Scetch Book

The food drawings were also a result of the fact that I needed to find some inspiration in art class. I usally work from photos, and focus on portraiture. So when I forgot to bring Photos to class, I headed strait to the magazine pile to see what seed I could find to inspire a 'masterpiece.' Drawing models and people from magazines didn't really interest me, I prefered instead to draw people I knew or 'real' people; I think it makes for a more interesting result. So, instead of opting to draw from fashion mags, I looked at the food mags and voi-la!
