Eggcellent!
It was pretty fun throwing eggs all over the studio walls...Although, being very bad at any kind of sports, especially ball sports, my 'aim' was not really displayed to any great skill...

Chaos Kids
Being unemployed, and ultimately having alot of extra time on my hands, I have to keep my typical Aries personality at bay by diving into a variable array of projects.
One such project is a new band; Chaos Kids.
N & I decided we wanted to play in a fun and carefree band again (this based purely on the perks, tours, riders and popularity!) It started as a 'big band' with plans for 6 members, but as the weeks went on, the members dropped like fly's (this based on their lack of time and ultimately, ability to commit, not the fact that it was to be a band filled with perks, tours, riders and popularity!) So we cut out the middle men, and instead of trying to find new people who mesh and understand the delicate balance of relationships within the band, we decided to keep it a duo (besides, that means a greater share of the perks, tours, riders and popularity!)
After several wines, beers, vodkas, champagnes... we decided to do an impromptu photo shoot in true 'Chaos Kids' style. N had just broken her foot on the D-Floor going wild to 'Time Bomb;' and as the little hand fast approached 5, we captured what the band is truly about; Stupidity!

Swimfan
As bush fire season kicks in, and the mercury rises, what better way to celibate than 'blinging' up your beach get-up and hittin' the pub?!

Gingers
I found this drawing I did in a random sketch book the other day. I like it unfinished like this. I seem to be messing around with color, line and am pretty sure the aim of the drawing was to NOT use any black for outlines (although I think it was mainly because I had worn down my black pencil...) It is of Nellie, Chelsea and I; we all had very different coloring (irl) and I tried to draw attention to that by using a different color scheme for each of us.
Augustus John
After going to the Modern Britain 1900-1960 exhibition at NGV a few years ago I was really taken by the work of Augustus John, particularly his portrait of daughter Poppet, which was used as the artwork on all the media for the show. John was a prominent artist in the early 1900s and lived the life of a gypsy. He was a polygamist, alcoholic and general eccentric a-hole, but it all added to the allure of this guy!

mmf!
Obviously, I am quite useless, and didn't camp out overnight to get a Meridith ticket, preferring instead to 'wing it' and hope that one would come to me.
And Voila! My DJ troop Badlands was asked to DJ on the Sunday between bands! Given it is the Sunday, after what will presumably be a really big Saturday, it could be a rather interesting set. But the moral of the story is: Your a sucker if you camp out for music festival tickets.
But what a line up, particularly excited for:
